INTRO. . . Everyone's life is special, and equally worthy of a book. I did not write these events down because I think my life is in some way more important than anyone else's. This is just my perspective on growing up in what I consider to be an interesting time in history, the 1960s and 70s, and a record of the way my life was before Jesus Christ came into it, the process of that change, and the difference he has made. That is why (having lived happily ever after) I wind the story up in mid-1979 at the age of 22. Someone once said that the Bible is not literature because of the way it is written, but because of the loftiness of its theme. My life has been privileged to dovetail into that theme, and for that reason alone I have written it down. Billy
